Welcome ICLWers and the 12 Days of Christmas

In the spirit of the season and the opening of December's ICLW, I thought I'd do my TTC recap in the form of the 12 Days of Christmas. You can read a more thorough account of my journey in September's recap and/or in the "TTC history" ticker in the column to the right. Since then the important facts are: boobie issue is OK, IVF#2 in November was cancelled due to premature ovulation and I'm currently in the 2WW after transferring 4 embies (3 of which were "excellent") after IVF#3 (I've been calling it 2.5).

So, here's a little Noel version of my TTC trials so far:

On the first day of Christmas, my ovaries gave to me...






1baby wanted (well, at least one)

7surgeries (1 laprascopy, 1 hysteroscopy, 2 D&Es, 2 egg retrievals, 1 breast biopsy)

On the eighth day of Christmas, my ovaries gave to me...






8babies amongst by BFFs

On the ninth day of Christmas, my ovaries gave to me...






9weeks in my longest pregnancy

On the tenth day of Christmas, my ovaries gave to me...






10hundred dollar bills for an Ovarian Reserve Index Test (score of 1, worst possible)

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my ovaries gave to me...






11months of blogging

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my ovaries gave to me...






12months with my second RE (Dr. Brian Berger at Boston IVF, love him!)

    You got 4 embies! After all that stimming you got 4 embies! I'm so proud of your ovaries right now! We got snowed in and we still don't have internet at home so I'm at the library with the Little Guy trying to get caught up with blogs. I was dying to know what happened with you. I'm so glad that things went well...and now more waiting. But yay for 4 embies! I'm pulling for you my dear!
