Phew! It turns out that Nurse D did call me back yesterday, or at least thought she did. She called me @ 11:45 this morning to say that she had a note on her pad that she called me back yesterday and set me up for b/w first thing this morning. However, I never got the message. With some other folks, I might doubt them, but I truly believe that she either a) did call me and the VM went somewhere else (wrong dialing, etc) or b) wrote down she called me as she was doing it and then got pulled on to something else and forgot. Either way, 11:45 was just about the latest she could call as the blood lab closes at 1pm at my clinic and I live about 45 minutes away (UGH). You all probably think I'm crazy for zipping up there when I could have had the test done at my local Quest and had the results tomorrow instead of today. It's not like this is a beta or anything. But, of course, I zoomed up there -- got there in 35 minutes thanks to a lead foot and no traffic and then zipped back home. Only away from my desk for 1 hour, 2o minutes - talk about efficient! Hopefully the lab isn't backed up today and I'll get the results the afternoon. Fingers crossed that the HCG is < 5 and I can get that stupid saline sonogram in within the next week.
Can you imagine how nuts I'm going to be during an actual cycle if I'm like this now?
You are super fast! I'm glad you got it done and I'm hoping that you can get going very soon with your next cycle. I'm sending you very low HCG level vibes...if there is such a thing!
