TTC history

• Dec 2009: IVF #3 (or 2.5). 12/19: transferred 4 embies - two 8-cell HIP, one 7-cell high grade, one 4-cell medium grade. Beta #1 at 13dpo: 242. Beta #2 at 17dpo: 1,206. Beta #3 at 22dpo: 8,848. 1st u/s on 1/13 shows two gestational sacs but only one heartbeat yet. 2nd u/s 1/20 to see if the Baby B is viable, RE says 50/50 chance.


• Nov 2009: IVF #2. 3 follies in the race, cancelled due to my body ovulating on its own, despite antagonist protocol.


• Sept 2009: So much for fairytales. 10-week u/s showed no heartbeat on 9/9. D&E scheduled for 9/11. Not sure we will continue TTC.


• HOLY CRAP: July 29 2009. Not trying, drinking pina coladas, eating horrible foods, going mountain biking. Natural BFP!!! Beta #1 (15dpo): 299. Beta #2 (20dpo): 2087. 6-week u/s looks great.


• July 2009: taking a break for the summer. Detox from all the meds. Allow an August cruise vacation to happen without the stress of TTC timing. Plan would be for IVF #2 in September


• June 20, 2009: IVF#1 - Day 3 ET. A single 8-cell, grade 3 (lowest amount of fragmentation) HIP embie. Beta 7/1, BFN.


• May/June 2009: IVF#1 Estrogen Priming Protocol. Almost no response, 1 follie throughout. ER on 6/17, 3 eggs retrieved, but only 1 mature.


• April 2009: IUI #3. 2 follies. BFN.


• March 2009: IUI #2. 1 follie. BFN.


• February 2009: Hysteroscopy. 10 polyps and an adhesion removed.


• January 2009:Change RE. Ready to TTC again. Oops, think again. Saline sonogram reveals uterine anomalies.


• December 2008: D&E.


• November 2008: Slow rising betas. Pregnancy progressing slowly. Finally no heartbeat.


• October 2008: BFP!


• September 2008: IUI#1. 2 follies.


• September 2008: Brain MRI to rule out pituitary tumor as cause of elevated prolactin. Negative, but start taking Parlodel to bring down prolactin.


• August 2008: Ovarian Reserve Index text (FSH, AMH, Inhibin B, Estradiol) gives a result of 1 out of 30 (worst possible score).


• February 2008: Laprascopy. Stage IV endometriosis, all reproductive organs out of place. Surgeon confident in removal.


• December 2007: Decide to start medicated cycles. Oops, baseline ultrasound reveals a 5cm cyst on each ovary. Endo suspected.


• September 2007: Start working with RE.


• July 2007: Appt with OBGYN, referred to RE.


• January 2007: Go off BCP, start TTCing.
